For Reservations Made On or AFTER August 1st, 2024, the optional Image Tours Travel Protection Plan is provided by Arch Roam Right. The pricing information for the plan is listed below. Travel Deferral Option Waiver

For those claims not eligible for Travel Protection coverage when a Travel Protection Plan has been purchased by a traveler, Image Tours offers a non-insurance Travel Deferral Option. The Travel Deferral Option is administered by Image Tours and is not an insurance benefit.

The Travel Deferral Option includes the following conditions and details:

Cancellations 10 days or more prior to scheduled departure for any reason that are not eligible for Travel Protection coverage.
Reimbursement in the form of an Image Tours Travel Credit for the amount of your Tour Only cancellation penalty, less your Travel Protection Plan cost.
Non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and are valid for travel within one year of the original departure date booked through the same travel agency.
May not be used as a credit toward the initial deposit for a future trip or to purchase the Travel Protection Plan for a future trip.
Applies to cancellation penalties only on land arrangements purchased through Image Tours and does not cover either air arrangements or the cost of a single supplement charge incurred if only one person cancels from a double occupancy room.
Not available for group departures or group cancellations, and any cancellation of more than six passengers from the same tour and date within 80 days of departure will be considered a group cancellation.

Before requesting use of the Travel Deferral Option, travelers must first submit a cancellation to their Travel Protection provider and receive a response as to whether or not the cancellation will be covered. If you are a resident of New York and wish to purchase the Travel Deferral Waiver separate from a Travel Protection Plan, ask your travel agent to inquire with Image Tours. Any credits provided under this Travel Deferral Option will be reduced by the amount of any cancellation benefits paid or payable by the Image Tours Travel Protection Plan or any other Travel Protection plan providing such benefits. To be eligible for the Travel Deferral Option, Image Tours must receive a copy of the statement of ineligibility for coverage from the Travel Protection Plan provider.
